To the editor:
I attended the rally at Crescent Family Beach with excellent speakers and information about the difficult situation with our water here in Southwest Florida. The rally was well-planned and informative.
However, it was very poorly attended by our beach residents, which I find a bit distressing. This particular issue directly affects all of us who love our little piece of Paradise here on Estero Island. It is really incumbent on each of us individually to make our feelings known to those who have the power to make the changes which are needed to deal with the situation in which we find ourselves.
As we joined hands across the sand, there were about 170 participants. There should have been many times that number. Please, let's ALL join in and let our legislators know that we want and need their help!
