The Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation is pleased to announce tickets are currently available for purchase for its second annual Charity Beach Ball, taking place Saturday, Nov. 2, at DiamondHead Beach Resort.
The Beach Ball is a black-tie optional silent auction to include an open bar from 6 to 8 p.m., dinner and dancing with The Marc Vee Band.
Dinner choices include grilled mahi mahi with roasted red pepper cream sauce, a 5-ounce filet mignon with a cashew sweet potato curry Sauce, or a vegetarian mushroom wellington over marinara sauce.
Dinner will be followed a dessert and coffee service. Cash bar will still be available from 8 to 11 p.m.
Last year's Beach Ball was a huge success.
"Thanks to all our generous supporters and attendees, the foundation was able to support many local causes and provide scholarships to three outstanding students," said Dr. Nicole Bennett, coordinator of the event. "With your continued support, we hope to make this event more memorable than the last!"
This year's special Beach Ball guest will be NBC-2's senior chief meteorologist Robert Van Winkle.
