Nicki Davis, of Fort Myers Beach and Tipp City, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 27. She was born on Aug. 8, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Fort Myers Beach in 1977 where she enjoyed a long and happy career in banking. In 1982, she was part of the inaugural staff at First Independence Bank and later became a Vice President and branch manager; she filled her weekends with boating, swimming, hosting parties, and spending time with her grandson, Nicholas. After retiring from banking, she bought a small gift shop on Estero Boulevard, which she named "The Crazy Lady."
Due to health reasons, she moved back to Ohio in 2003, where she enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with old friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Davis, grandson Nicholas Bradford, son-in-law Todd Blanton, and brother Steven Dixon.
She was known and loved for her spunk, sense of humor, and devotion to family and friends.
There will be a private memorial service in May on the beach, the place Nicki loved the most.
Memorial contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice, 7887 Washington Drive, Suite 135, Dayton, Ohio 45459.
