To the editor:
Thanks and praise to my constituents in Precinct 81 during an arduous election event.
Amidst some, deservedly, grumbling and much complaining, these Islanders behaved with control and character, patiently padding their queues and even, in some cases, allowing others with special needs to precede them at the long-awaited machines.
In addition, we are an intelligent group, and I am sure that many of our suggestions will be implemented. Kudos as well to my co-workers who remained cool under fire. I look forward to serving you all again!
