To the editor:
We have been coming to Fort Myers Beach since 1998 when we honeymooned there. We purchased a condo and now come down yearly with our three children, usually right after Christmas.
We went to the kid's park that used to exist by Times Square and were dismayed to see it had been removed. We were told there was a "new park" so we walked down to see .... sand and a volleyball net???
What a disappointment! Our kids always loved the old park, and now there is not one public kids park on the Island.
