Reservations are still being accepted for the Tuesday, Nov. 15, Lavender Tea program at the Burroughs Home and Gardens, Fort Myers. The Tuesday Teatime program begins at 1 p.m., with a cost of $25.
Lavender possesses a remarkable array of uses as well as a fascinating history. Those attending will explore all that lavender has to offer, including a light tea featuring lavender recipes.
Teatime programs are presented by Beach resident Laurie Nienhaus, founder of the Ladies' Tea Guild. The Burroughs Home, on the banks of the Caloosahatchee in the River District of Fort Myers, is one of the premier historic homes of Fort Myers. It is the home of the Uncommon Friends Foundation.
The next Tuesday Teatime features a Victorian Postcard Tea on Nov. 29 and December 6. These programs begin at 1 p.m. and cost $25.
Reservations are required for each of the teas and may be made by calling 337-0706 or emailing Christine@BurroughsHome.com. Supplies for the various teas will be available for purchase following each presentation.
