John James "Jack" Kunka, 67 years old, passed away peacefully at home with his family in Kingston, Washington, on Dec. 13, 2010. Jack developed many friendships on Fort Myers Beach during his visits with his wife, Gardie, who along with her daughter, Lexie, lived on Fort Myers Beach for many years. Jack had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. Everyone loved him, and will he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, John; mother, Agatha; and stepfather, Calvin Neal. Jack is survived by his wife, Gardie; stepdaughter, Lexie; grandson, Elijah; brothers, Larry (Karen) and Bill (Kathy); nephews, Tim, Scott and Kevin (Keri) Kunka, nieces, Haley, Carly and Debra Kunka; and great nephew, Logan.
A celebration of life was held Jan. 9th at the Indianola, Washington Clubhouse. Donations in memory may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County. A condolence book to share memories of Jack is available at www.poulsbomortuary.com
