A memory service will be held for long-time Fort Myers Beach resident Kirsten Norberg on Saturday, April 10, at 3 p.m. on the beach in front of the Surf Club.
Norberg was found dead in her apartment on Bonita Street and appeared to have died from natural causes, according to Lee County Sheriff's Office Information Officer John Sheenan. She was a bartender at the Beach Whale, Smokin' Oyster Brewery and Pincher's Crab Shack before sustaining injuries to her eye socket, collarbone, wrist and thumb. Known as a Minnesota Vikings fan and originally from that Midwestern State, Norberg leaves behind a mother and a sister. She will be missed.
